John Clary Davies
John Clary Davies lives in Valdez, NM. He is the senior director of brand editorial and sustainability for Avocado and the former editor in chief of New Mexico Magazine and Powder. His work has also appeared in Outside, ESPN, and SKI, in addition to this publication. He once won a Spanish travel writing contest he didn’t even know he’d entered and likes tacos, Modelos and the West Basin chutes at Taos Ski Valley, NM.
Will Eginton
Will Eginton is yet another East Coast transplant living in Seattle. A sometimes writer, Eginton has published work in Powder, Bomb Snow, Gear Patrol and Freeskier, among others. He has built his career in brand marketing and is currently a sales representative in the outdoor space. When he’s not selling sneakers or putting pen to paper, he enjoys skiing around Alpental and the surrounding backcountry with his ragtag crew of jaded grumps or climbing rock faces of moderate difficulty with his girlfriend.
Arttu Heikkinen
Arttu Heikkinen is a self-taught photographer and filmmaker based in Espoo, Finland. He captures action sports like skateboarding, snowboarding and skiing and has been working with the Forre crew as a main filmer and director for the last few years. His ski-film projects include Forrmula and the upcoming release, Cast. Heikkinen studied machine technology at Aalto University but moved into film and photography work right after school. Chris O’Connell
Chris O’Connell is a documentary producer and director. One of the most published snow sports photographers in the world, he recently took a hiatus from dodging avalanches and searching the world for perfect snow, to produce Cannabis Buyers Club, the definitive story of pot legalization in America due to the 1990s AIDS crisis in San Francisco. It’s O’Connell’s first documentary series and was an official selection at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. O’Connell also co-founded Armada Skis in 2002 and resides in Park City, UT, where he still shoots a ski photo or two.
