Brendan Ladd

Brendan Ladd is a freelance photographer based in Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT. After spending his formative years in Connecticut and Vermont, he attended the University of Utah, but ultimately ski-bum life proved too alluring. Making ends meet working in restaurants and teaching ski lessons, he spends most of his free time shooting photos of his friends at Brighton, Solitude and the surrounding Wasatch backcountry. When he’s not taking pictures, he can still be found coaching freestyle camps on weekends and harassing the bartenders at Brighton’s infamous Molly Green’s. You can find more of his work on Instagram @b.ladd.photo or at www.brendanladdphoto.com.

Noah Lederman

Noah Lederman is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir A World Erased. His writing has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, The Economist, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, Outside, The Surfer’s Journal, and elsewhere. Currently based in New York, Lederman rides waves and mountains, and enjoys writing stories with a connection to either setting. He occasionally tweets from @SomewhereOrBust.

Christine McManigal

Christine McManigal is a multimedia journalist currently based in Seattle. Her bylines include The Seattle Globalist, KNKX Public Radio and The Daily. At KNKX, she worked as a content creator for the NPR news program “All Things Considered” and “The Morning Edition,” and was the podcast editor at the University of Washington’s student newspaper from 2017 through 2019. She sees journalism as the best way to advocate for others and believes that audio/visual mediums have the capacity to draw a large audience while remaining personal. She currently earns her turns working at a local ski shop and can be found at Alpental, WA, on her days off.
