SCOTT NEWMAN (01)
Scott Newman is an award-winning author, contributing editor at the online magazine Quillette and host of the 27 Rouge podcast. He grew up racing slalom and giant slalom at Thunder Ridge, NY, and fell in love with the snow from an early age. In 2020, he published his debut book The Night Before the Morning After and graduated from Princeton University with a degree in history shortly thereafter. He has lived across Australia, France, Argentina and the United States, and currently resides in New York City.

MICHELLE PARKER (02)
When Michelle Parker became a professional skier, she had no idea that she could make a career out of sliding on snow. Two decades later, however, she is still at it. Between film parts with Matchstick Productions and the new Nexus film series, her obsession with skiing has only grown, and she continues to redefine her position within the industry. In addition to hosting the podcast Care Less, Do More, she prioritizes writing magazine articles over writing Instagram captions and eagerly awaits print issues in her mailbox.

WILL WESSON (03)
Born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York, Will Wesson discovered modern freestyle skiing around the turn of the millennium. A true product of his East Coast upbringing, he is best known for his technical and unique approach to rail skiing in films from Ski the East (formerly Meathead Films) and Level 1 Productions. Additionally, he cofounded the longest-running web series in skiing—Line’s “Traveling Circus.”  He has an X Games Real Ski Street gold medal from 2016 and also contributes to Andy Parry’s Tell a Friend Tour each year, visiting 10 to 20 smaller mountains across the country to bring local ski communities closer together.

SCOTT YORKO (04)
As much as Scott Yorko loves chasing deep powder all over the world, he’s even more drawn to obscure places with little to no ski infrastructure or culture to speak of, often tucked into snowy corners of far-flung mountain ranges. That curiosity led him to the Accursed Mountains of the Balkan Peninsula last spring, and has also led to bike adventures in Bhutan, rickshaw races in India, and even a land crossing of the infamous Darien Gap. His writing has landed in the pages of Outside, Playboy, Transworld Snowboarding, Backpacker and The New York Times. When not chasing esoteric adventure, he likes to travel uptracks near his home in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley.

ALEX ZIMMERMAN (05)
Alex Zimmerman is a freelance photographer and office furniture connoisseur. He grew up bouncing between San Diego and Homer, AK, eventually putting down roots in Oregon. After earning turns for 100 months straight, he decided to refocus his efforts toward taking pictures. Applying his background in surf photography to the mountains, Alex aims to incorporate flow and style into landscapes. If you don’t see him hovering around Crater Rock on Mount Hood waiting for golden hour or chasing astro photos of the Milky Way, you can likely find him crushing tacos at Villas Market in Portland. To see more of his work, check out @alex_zimm on Instagram.
