“I connected with Trevor Semmens and Connery Lundin on a somewhat stormy, deep day at Palisades Tahoe, CA. I had just gotten back to town and hadn’t seen the mountain in a few storms and was amazed by how filled in everything was. Sisters are usually a pair of columns with a variety of lines around them. I had never seen a takeoff though. Even with a lot of snow, it was a narrow, dicey inrun. Still, Trevor and Connery nailed it, and a whole posse showed up right behind them to hit a spot I’d never seen hit in 30 years of skiing at the resort.” Photo: Jeff Engerbretson
