TOP TO BOTTOM An overnight dusting—some-times dreams become reality and on my first weeklong ski-and bike-ride, this was one of those occasions. I pitched my tent on a snow-covered field close to a mountain called Jægervasstindan, in Norway’s Lyngen archipelago, far above the Arctic Circle. Never has my lunch tasted as good as after surviving a bike ride across this creaking ice quilt of a frozen lake. I spent a couple of nights here beside Heggmovatnet lake, a few miles outside of Bodø, Norway. The Ski Journal 0103
