In April 2019, I went heli-skiing in the area next to Kebnekaise, Sweden, with Czech guide Robin Kaleta. With his help, we set up this group shot—a tricky one to get right, but a nice final product. I spent a lot of time with my Swiss friend Andy Vogel in the winter of 2020. During the nights I slept on his couch and during the days we skied deep conditions inbounds. Andy lives close to Gotthard Pass, gifting him 10 different resorts and endless backcountry areas within one hour of his home. We even went ski touring with Vogel’s dog, Alma, who loved to chase us down lines like this one in Val Bedretto, Switzerland.
