TOP TO BOTTOM Poppy Millington puts out the vibe in one of Stoeck-lein’s many made-for-Hollywood shoots around Sun Valley. Stoecklein often called upon a cohort of local skiers and was one of the first ski photographers of the time to get his mod-els paid gigs. After then-Alta General Manager Onno Wieringa dragged his toilet up Little Cottonwood Canyon mid-summer, Stoecklein helped stage this shot for Snowbird, which eventually ran with the catchphrase, “Ski the Rockies, We Have the Runs!” 090 The Ski Journal
