LAST FLAKE “Things didn’t go very well during a ski trip that Chad Sayers, Kari Medig and I took to the remote Aysén Region of southern Chile. We were fine as we began to kayak toward a few unskied volcanoes deeper in the mountains, but we were eventually stymied by a set of Class 3 rapids.
