After rapid warming, the search for colder snow was on. The team didn’t like the idea of hanging out by ice bulges but keeping a close eye on this particular north-facing zone increased confidence in the overall stability. Michelle and team roped up and probed all around before stepping foot on the ice, working to get out of the area as fast as possible while limiting their exposure.
